This Richmond lounge makeover focused on creating a modern yet welcoming space that feels both stylish and comfortable. The existing room lacked cohesion, so the design centred on soft textures, considered lighting and contemporary furnishings to enhance warmth and flow. The result is a refined lounge that works effortlessly for everyday living while feeling ideal for entertaining.

  • The clients wanted to modernise their lounge without losing its warmth. The space needed to feel inviting, practical and well-balanced, combining contemporary design with a cosy atmosphere suitable for both relaxing and hosting guests.

  • We introduced a layered scheme using tactile materials, a neutral palette and carefully selected furniture. Thoughtful spatial planning and lighting improved flow and functionality, resulting in a cohesive, stylish lounge that feels comfortable and timeless.

  • The fireplace wall, with its bespoke timber mantel and oversized round mirror, forms the heart of the space. It reflects light beautifully while adding balance, depth and a strong visual anchor to the room.
