Modern Lounge Redesign - Chester Le Street

This lounge revamp transformed a dated space into a modern yet cosy living area. The design balances contemporary styling with comfort, using smart spatial planning, layered lighting, and a refined colour palette. The result is a warm, inviting lounge perfectly suited to everyday family life and entertaining, with a clear sense of character and cohesion.

The client wanted to add character to their lounge and move away from a tired layout. The space needed to feel modern, cosy, and practical, with darker tones and a more defined design direction.
By reworking the layout and introducing carefully selected furniture, textures, and lighting, we created a welcoming space that feels both stylish and functional. The new scheme enhances comfort while giving the room a stronger identity.
The bespoke sideboard paired with an antique brass mirror creates a striking focal point within the room. Positioned along one wall, it reflects natural light and views of the outdoors, enhancing the sense of space while adding warmth, depth and a refined, timeless character.
